0N1 FORCE, the pioneering anime PFP project that minted in August 2021, recently welcomed producer and IP3 founder David Uslan as a strategic advisor.
Initially launched in late 2021, 0N1 FORCE is a collection of 7,777 NFTs showcasing side-on faces, known as “0N1s.” It was among the first original anime NFT collections on the market and has since amassed over 54,000 ETH (approximately $90 million USD) in transaction volumes across all marketplaces, maintaining a 1.5 ETH (approximately $1,900) floor at the time of writing.
The revival of 0N1 FORCE commenced in February 2023 when the blockchain investment firm Old Fashioned Research (OFR) purchased the project from its previous owners – JR, IMCMPLX, Strawberry CryptoSpaces, and LinkedEm.
Uslan, with his extensive experience in fortifying relationships between the U.S. and Asian media markets, has also contributed to the development of global franchises like ‘Batman’ through international co-productions. He is the son of Michael Uslan, renowned as the Originator and Executive Producer of the original ‘Batman’ franchise movie series, starting with Tim Burton’s 1989 film and continuing through Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Trilogy,” Todd Phillips’s “JOKER,” and the 2021 adaptation “The Batman.”
Uslan is not the only new addition to the 0N1 team. The team will also include Henry Finn as CEO, OFR led by former Binance CFO Wei Zhou, and Yield Guild COO Colin Goltra. This follows the team’s May 4 announcement of its strategic partnership with Horizen Labs Ventures (HLV), whose portfolio includes Animoca Brands, Yuga Labs, ApeCoin DAO, The Sandbox, Jam City, and Dust Protocol.
